Clipstone Village near Mansfield is now benefitting from a fantastic new food store after commercial property experts at Landa Associates acted on behalf of a longstanding landlord client to acquire a prominently located social club and community hub in the area.

 

Nijjar Group Ltd, a third-generation family property company based in Nottingham, has welcomed national frozen food specialist Heron Foods as a tenant after retaining Landa Associates to acquire the former Top Club at 168 Mansfield Road from a private vendor.

 

The Yorkshire-headquartered retail chain has taken a 15-year lease on the ground floor of the building in a deal brokered by Landa Associates director Sunny Landa, whose previous work for Nijjar Group includes the acquisition of 226-228 Southchurch Drive in Clifton – a high street retail investment currently let to Card Factory.

 

Heron Foods will occupy the ground floor approximately 3,318 sq ft at 168 Mansfield Road, remunerating Nijjar Group with an attractive investment value.

 

The Top Club building previously housed three sizeable bar areas and had been subjected to internal improvements by the vendor, who was represented by Christie and Co. The property also includes an enclosed car park to the rear.
