Enthusiasts of the sausage roll and steak bake are in for a real treat in Carlton after Landa Associates and joint agent Omeeto fired up a deal to bring one of the nation’s most beloved bakery chains to the Nottingham suburb.

355 Carlton Hill will be occupied by Greggs for an initial term of 15 years after Sunny Landa acting on behalf of landlord and entrepreneur Adrian Harkin, brokered a delicious agreement with the high street pasty giant.

Previously a branch of Lloyds Bank, the prominently located retail unit spans approximately 2,368 sq ft and includes ancillary office space on the first floor.

Greggs’ arrival in Carlton will bolster its presence on the East side of Nottingham, where it currently operates a popular outlet at Victoria Retail Park in Netherfield.

The bakery will join big-name occupiers including Tesco, Iceland and Domino’s Pizza on Carlton Hill.

Sam Hall at Innes England acted for Greggs.

Sunny Landa, director of Landa Associates, said: “This was a real win. I’m delighted for Adrian, who, in Greggs, has secured a blue-chip tenant on a long lease. This will be attractive to the investment market moving forward and puts him on a very strong and equitable footing for the future.”

Adrian Harkin, landlord, entrepreneur and seasoned property investor, said: “We’re over the moon to welcome Greggs as a tenant. Their presence in Carlton will provide a welcome boost to the area by creating valuable jobs and encouraging greater footfall.

“I can’t thank Sunny enough for getting the deal cooked up so professionally. I would recommend their services to any property investor with their eye on the long game.”

Sam Hall, associate director of agency and development at Innes England, added: “This was a fantastic outcome for all parties. I’m delighted to have helped our clients Greggs extend their footprint in the Carlton area the deal was a pleasure to complete.”
